With this product, you are able to remove the problematic balance shaft module from the engine, saving you hassle and a lot of money.
The original module and the oil pump are replaced by our parts. Through the extensive eGuide (online manual) developed by us, it is possible to make a conversion to the 2.0 TDI engine. This makes it possible for any specialist workshop to carry out the work correctly.
The core of this article is the eGuide. It includes necessary information and tips, based on extensive texts and detailed images. Years of work have gone into this guide. In cooperation with our customers, we have collected a lot of information that is necessary to make the conversion successful and sustainable.
The conversion was developed, tested and perfected through constant measurements in operation with a test vehicle that has already driven over 280,000 km without the balancer shaft module. During development, emphasis was naturally also placed on driving comfort. The original purpose of the balancer shaft module is to absorb engine vibrations, but its absence is not subjectively perceived in everyday driving. The purchase of a new balancer shaft module (approx. 2000€) is therefore unnecessary.
This is what our customers write about this product:
Josef Achilles: "I just want to say thanks again for the cost effective and good alternative for the balance shaft problem at VAG.
Have made the conversion with my workshop of confidence (for the it was also new territory) but they were immediately convinced of your concept.
And eibau went with the instructions also super they said.
And must say he now pulls a bit better and a larger oil budget can not hurt.
Aufjedenfall thick THANK YOU and I hope I have not wasted too much of your time with the text ...
I will always recommend you! "
Ebay customer: "Top product, goes well with timing belt change, subjectively no more vibrations."
For the conversion itself, you need general knowledge of an automotive mechanic in the field of installation of timing belts, oil pan assembly, oil ring assembly, engine oil pump assembly. As well as general knowledge of screw threads, thread repair and thread production.
In summary, the work is part of the training of every automotive mechatronics and should therefore not be a problem.
Note:
The MMHP oil pump included in the scope of delivery has been specially developed for this engine. It is an improved high performance oil pump. The advantages are a higher flow rate, as well as the use of high quality materials that make the oil pump stable.
These advantages have a positive effect on other components, such as the turbocharger. All components of the engine thus receive good lubrication and this benefits
the service life.
Important info: This kit is for all 2.0 TDI (8V and 16V) engines installed in VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda. Please select which Veriation you need.
- In vehicles where the engine is installed longitudinally to the vehicle, please select the longitudinal engine version.
- In vehicles where the engine is installed transverse to the vehicle, please select the transverse engine version.
You will receive here, in addition to the eGuide, all parts needed for the common conversion.
No modification of the oil pan is required.
(Changing the oil pan changes the engine dimensions, this would result in less space between the oil pan and the road. It would then be the lowest point at the front. There is then a risk that by hitting the oil pan on the road, for example a stone on the road, a hole is torn in it).
A completely new system with a new drive from the crankshaft journal is built. Heating of the drive gear of the crankshaft is not necessary with our component. You can find everything else in the eGuide.
A censored look at the eGuide:
Scope of delivery:

*We would like to point out once again that you as the buyer are obliged to check in advance which system (longitudinal engine / transverse engine) must be installed. You must also check whether a conversion is really possible for you. As a rule, this is only possible if the oil pan is removed in advance.
** Since the eGuide access is set up in the own hosting portal directly after delivery, the set up access is available for a reasonable period of time.
