The eGuide and how we work

With our conversion kits, the eGuide is the principal service. Hardware can be sourced anywhere; the knowledge of how to make the conversion last cannot. This page explains what the eGuide contains, how access works, and what applies for warranty and goodwill.

What the eGuide covers

The eGuide is not a retyped manufacturer manual. It describes the conversion the way it actually runs in the workshop, including the points where mistakes typically happen.

The content comes from our customer network, which includes private owners, workshops and wholesalers worldwide. Our technical editorial team works their feedback in continuously. The eGuide is therefore not an accessory to the hardware; it is the service you are paying us for.

Access and availability

The eGuide is digital content in your customer portal, not a download and not a file to archive. It is maintained continuously, and that is precisely what determines how long a given revision stays available.

What you acquire is time-limited access to a continuously maintained work, not a file to own indefinitely. For digital content this is the normal model. We state the period explicitly rather than leaving it open.

The rules in short

Tied to the product version. Every eGuide revision belongs to one specific kit. When we change a product, for example by adding components or a new installation tool, we update the eGuide and remove the steps that are then obsolete. One example: since we started supplying a puller for the factory crankshaft drive gear, the earlier removal method is no longer included.

Older revisions are retired. We keep superseded revisions available in parallel for a transitional period, but not permanently. When a product version is discontinued, access to its revision ends after a reasonable period.

Minimum period. Access to the revision belonging to your purchase is available for at least twelve months from the date of purchase. Beyond that it remains available for as long as we maintain the relevant product version. Please plan the installation close to the time of purchase.

No transfer between versions. There is no entitlement to revisions belonging to a different product version. This applies in both directions: content created after your purchase, belonging to a newer or more extensive product, is not part of what you acquired.

This coupling is not a formality. A manual describing a different kit from the one in front of you leads to mistakes on the vehicle. We therefore release only the revision that matches your part.

Why we protect the content

We develop solutions that extend engine life. That attracts imitators. It has happened repeatedly that production parts were bought through intermediaries, taken apart, and used together with our instructions for cheap copies. Customers do not notice, and afterwards they come to us.

Our answer is clear agreements and controlled access to the content, not suspicion towards honest customers. You help us by checking OEM numbers and our vehicle search before ordering, and by contacting us early if something looks wrong.

Warranty, support and goodwill

We keep this plain, so you know what you can rely on.

Statutory warranty	Applies as set out in our terms and conditions. For business customers, the periods stated there apply.
Additional guarantee	We do not give any guarantee beyond the statutory warranty, unless expressly stated otherwise on the individual product.
Technical support	For installation questions, send us photos or video of the component together with the engine code. We will look at it and get back to you.
Goodwill	We review each case individually where it is documented comprehensibly. Goodwill decisions are made voluntarily and without acknowledgement of any legal obligation. They create no entitlement, including for later cases.

Digital content. Access to the eGuide is granted in the customer portal after separate consent. With that consent the right of withdrawal lapses for the eGuide only, not for the goods supplied.
